Been a long time

It really has been a long time since I have done a blog post!
I think the last post I did was about learning SEO techniques to maximise traffic, but, and I do mean it, SEO is Hectic to learn and rather hard to keep up with large sites which have large amounts of money to throw behind their sites.

But just because this is a hard ass thing to learn doesn't mean I didn't try and find out what it was. As a matter of fact I'm sure I finished making notes on it a few months ago and just never shared them.

Gurus make money by building mailing lists, the mailing list is just a list of peoples email addresses that are constantly sent emails, These email's make me scoff now that I look back on them as they are just selling products. Products that would more than likely just waste your time and space on your computer. I know this because I went to a site on how to build my own money making site and had to sign up to one just to watch their show, but they can do it better than I can so feel free to sign up to the site and if u dont find it usefull, just block them :P
http://www.clonecashsystem.com/
Notice I don't have any affiliate links on the end of this because you will have to sign up to a mailing list but the rest of the information is free, there are several videos on this site which are quite helpful if you are wondering where to begin.

Have fun watching those if you want to find out about building your own site to make money (This is not by any means a fast way to make money online)

Undress for success book review

Well as you can see from the title this is going to be a review of the book and I have to say it is fantastic, I had been expecting to find a book on complicated things to do but instead it was a book that explained the different ways to start a business from home, like becoming a freelancer.
I highly suggest it as it isn't a book on SEO things or affiliate marketing which is what I have been trying to do very unsuccessfully, but I am going to attempt this Freelancer thing, which is being employed to Wright articles on your chosen subject by a company (small or large)
First website I am going to try, which I did get from the book and looked it up from being told by the book, is-
www.oDesk.com
which has a pretty good explanation on how the site works on it (obviously) but I will tell you about that site and other ones on a different post after I have tried them out. Other freelance sites I got from this book are:

www.guru.com
www.elance.com
www.getafreelancer.com
www.net-temps.com

Those are all freelance sites that I HAVEN'T tried out yet (check the date of this post) so if you try them yourself and they don't work as well as you hope, then don't blame me, but they SHOULD work as the book suggested them.
This is the only topic I think is relevant to myself as I am currently writing a blog and haven't got medical experience or very good ICT skills, and I’m not a teacher or cut out to be a call centre agent, hence the only one I will cover. But for more information on ways you can get more money than that if you are trained in Medical care or coding and scripting, you will need to buy the book as I am defiantly not going to get into copyright trouble with a big company who has enough money to successfully run a huge database on making money online, who could close me down entirely and I don't want that.

The book also tells you how to avoid scams, what SEO is but not how to do it in great detail as it’s not a book  about SEO and LOTS of other stuff.
If you can afford to get some money together to buy this book I highly suggest it.

Now I will look into SEO if I can find any information on it that I don't have to pay for, then I will look into the Freelance sites and tell you all about them and then by that point I should technically have some money, so far? I have gained nothing.

Im slow on the uptake

It has come to my attention that I am a bit slow and have yet to explain exactly how you get all this fabulous stuff such as ads and what to do with it so here goes the things I should have added a while ago:

  • You need to have a website or start a website on a blogging site, preferably one that has a lot of readers coming to it every day who can find your blog
  • After you have your site set up, you have now got an empty blog, awesome.
  • After some heavy reading about different things to right about you finally find something that you think is worth righting about and more importantly, something that you like
  • You come up with something original that people want to read (a very important part of blogging as people do not want to read content that they can find elsewhere and that is better quality information than yours) and do RESEARCH on it
  • Draft it out before you put it on your site. As you can tell with my epic grammar and spelling I am not doing this, but once I get more than 5 people looking at my site a day and possibly some followers I will fix everything so this is my draft as I'm jumping in the deep end with both feet, and blogging how it goes, hopefully this will help beginners like myself once I have figured it out.
  • Put these ads on your site completed, blog filled or while you are sill blogging, to advertise different things for Google or different products that are relevant to your readers by joining AdSense, Amazon affiliates, or clickbank or all of the above
  • Keep your content up to date, if you let your content dry up then people will stop visiting your site/blog so you will make no more money
Ok so now that I have that I am going back to reading up on my chosen blogging topic or 'niche' as all those fancy pants big shots call it

My chosen reading material is a book my brother has very kindly bought me called 'Undress for success - The naked truth about making money at home' which I will put an Amazon link up for anyone who cares to buy it before I have reviewed it or even after if it’s good enough to buy.

Google AdSense and Amazon who will both pay you to advertise for them, all you need to do is click the Monetise tab on the dashboard of your Blogger account and set it up from there, if you are reading this in order to find out how to set this up for another site, click on the Amazon website and scroll to the bottom and you will find information there. And if you do not know how to do it from after there, then there is a forum on the site that is full of people who will help you.

Money from AdSense

Google AdSense is a decent way to make an extra bit of money, but not a lot, probably 0.4p or something each time someone clicks on your ad, even if they close the ad straight after but the more clicks you get the more money you get as I have been reading up on as many blogs possible and find that people can make $30 from one of their sites a month.

  • The more clicks you get from traffic, the more  money
  • The more sites and blogs you have with AdSense the more money
  • BUT the more ads you have probably means less clicks and less money, so don't go crazy and put as many ads as you can on, ill right more on that in a bit

As you can see I have ads on this page, these are the ads that has been provided by Google, if you have a Google account and your own blog from this site, then you can set up an AdSense in a matter of around 2 minutes, I set this one up on my blog in less than a minute but that is due to the fact that I have a Google account and already had read all the T&Cs.
There are ways to increase your AdSense traffic which I will cover when I find out more information on it, but until then I shall leave a link of the ways to increase the traffic from an E-book I am promoting from Clickbank

http://5d781649h3em3v5f3c3bjb3h5u.hop.clickbank.net/

when you open this to buy it (hopefully) you will see that it is from a person who knows what they are on about and are not saying a ridiculous amount of money such £/$700 an hour as you have probably seen in previous ways to make money. I am putting this on my blog for two reasons:
1.                  To give you more of a chance to gain money from AdSense.
2.                   And to see if I can possible get some commission from advertising for the person who made it getting paid by Clickbank, see other posts.
A thing to remember about AdSense is not to go crazy and start putting as many ads as you can on your site/blog as this will make people leave your site or just completely ignore all the ads all together.
Keep your ads somewhere that will attract people’s attention as if you put them where they are used to seeing ads then they will have a blindness to the areas where they are used to seeing ads, I know I do this when there are ads at the top left of the block of righting I am about to start reading unless it is extremely interesting.

Good luck all.

ClickBank as a way to make money

If you Google 'make money online' and ignore all those telling you it’s easy, anyone can do it in just a few minutes, you may just come across the sites that pay you to take surveys... But I have an account with 'pureprofile' and have had one for a while and I really cannot be bothered doing all those questions and then having to wait until I make so much money (£25 is the norm) before I even get to see it, so I keep getting emails saying 'NEW OFFER' and I just delete them as it’s not up my street, but if you want then look for these sites and there are some that don't scam you and do actually pay, but I don't know them as I don't like them. But that is one way to make money if you are dedicated and wait for the surveys.

However it's not the only way to do it, after 3 days of looking for valid ways to make cash online I found out about SEO (search engine optimization) and IM (internet marketing) which do actually make money, it’s just figuring it out how those people do it. What you would need to do this is; your own website and a few ads on your site (pay per click things and that sort of thing, they pretty much promote a product and get paid commission if the product gets sold) so they divert more people to the website to increase their chances of making some money.

But I’m 18 and I haven’t a clue how to make my own site, YET. But I'm going to find out how and hopefully from that point become one of those rare people who can make a steady income from it, while teaching you along the way. But I am not going to hold my breath and neither should you, I am however going to keep those who read this updated on my progress on making money from the internet, I’ll try and do this about once a week, first few times I post though will be more frequent and if I find something good that I have posted already I will jump back on and tell everyone.

First place I'm starting is on Clickbank as I cannot be arsed with online surveys, but don’t let me tell you not to do them yourself, you can make a bit of 'chump change' from those sites, I don't like this phrase as its almost as annoying as petty cash (money they keep in shops that isn’t in the till, it can be enough to pay someone full time at £6/hour) Someone offers you free £180 a week, and you will accept it without thinking anywhere near the borders of petty, but the big money makers think that £25 (the amount you should get from many many surveys) is money that chumps make... LONG LIVE US CHUMPS is what I say.

Anyway back to Clickbank, this is a quite a well known site, you go on and it’s got a nice wee layout with the steps that they use to make you money, and what it is, is as follows:

  • Browse to find a product that you like and want to promote
  • You will get a link that you put on your blog or site or where ever will get a lot of 'traffic' (makes me laugh when I see this as your 'traffic' is humans... using human traffic to make money but without them having to be sold or made into slaves :D )
  • If someone buys this product after clicking your link, you get paid commission for advertising for them, you can make up to 75% commission (epic)

People do make money from this site by following those steps so if you want to try it go ahead its free www.clickbank.com but if you do manage to make money off it then they will take some money for hosting it which is fair and it’s not a lot, you can find out more on the site as I don't want to copy and paste a huge chunk of it just in case they tell me I’m copyrighting it
This is not the only promotion site out there, there are more, only this is the first I have found and the only one i am using.

Introduction to my attempt at making money

Hey all those who decided to give this a look, and thanks for not just ignoring it :)

You are probably reading this if you searched for ways make money online, if you are new to making online money or experienced this may help you as I am pointing out sites I am going to be using to make myself some money, starting on £0 and when I reach at least £100 in one month I think that will cover the basics of making Internet money.

What I'm going to do here is attempt to make money from home over the Internet with no experience and on top of that I'm going to try it with no money in a PayPal account or anything like that... Should be fun -.-...

We have all seen those ad's saying 'I made £700 in one week' (I doubt it) and iv clicked on it just for a wee nosy, and from personal experience, 100% of the time its someone trying to sell you something before you make any money yourself, but instead of putting me off it has instead made me stop and think, because someone must be making money from putting that advertisement there, and I want a piece of that action as well. If you are reading this you do to.

So in this blog full of bad spelling and horrific grammar I'm going to right up how I intend to make money with no experience and no capital, that way you can copy it without me charging you anything, let alone an arm and a leg.
